Work & Jobs
Here we have poems about the jobs, work, and businesses in Maine.
Plowing
The snow has piled up outside
it is ready for us to make it collied.
The plow is now waiting for us to get going
for all night till morning it has been snowing.
You can feel the snow hitting the plow
I wear a seat belt so when we hit the bank I say ow.
Then Dad goes faster making the bumps even worse
then when the bumps really hurt I can’t help but curse
I tell dad to slow down so I don’t be transfered into a hearse.
The dad slows down to make me happy
just to speed back up to make everything crapy.
When we’re all said and done
we go inside to have some fun.
we do nothing when we’re indoors
because we are done with all our chores.
Now we are inside and all warm
just waiting for another storm.
Because when it comes we’ll be ready
for all the snow that rains down like spaghetti.
